Two iPods, one iTunes...

#210865Thu 04/10/07 14:09		Okay, I currently have an 8GB Nano which has serviced me well for the past year. I now have got too much music and podcasts for it to handle and so I've decided to upgrade to an 80GB iPod Classic. However, I'd still like to be able to use my Nano when I go down the gym (I start back on Monday) and use the classic the rest of the time. So, is it possible to have two different iPods running off the same iTunes or will my computer say no?
duncanThu 04/10/07 14:10		Yes perfectly possible :D I've got 3 iPod's now sync'd off my PC :D (a shuffle, iPod photo and iPod Touch)

I only ever have one connected at a time.... But yes - you can have one take everything from your library (which is how my iPod Photo is configured), but you can select what goes on. There should be an option when you plug it in how its going to do it.... The for the nano you'd just drag and drop the songs you want from your library to the iPod and it'll copy them over :)
finalfrontier1976Thu 04/10/07 14:15		Yep toally fine, however I've heard the iPods don't like going to a totally different PC as they've been sync'd to that first PC.
