It is great.. like Nicole Kidman's The Visitors... it's based on Henry James "Turn of the Screw"...A bit more faithful to the original. |

Not sure I agree with that... it's just a sign of the paucity of original ideas nowadays.. and how good some of the old actors were.. Still not got through my bumper collection of Joan C and Bette D.. |

Yes, great film, actually based on The Turn of he Screw. Both versions have toured theatres in play format, which I last saw about 10yrs ago. It's worth seeing on the stage, if you get the chance. |
