OK so it's a scum sucking hate filled parasite on the body of British journalism.
It thinks women shouldn't go out to work (though in fairness when it comes to Amanda Platell and Melanie Phillips I'm inclined to agree with it

It prints vicious diatrbes about the recently deceased before their graves have been dug (Not just Stephen Gately. The puerile and dishonest attack on Michael Foot was one of the nastiest things I've read in a long time).

It is obsessed with wierd unproven pseudo-science - most famously for its belief that everything in the world either causes or cures cancer, but some of the Astronomy stuff they print makes their cancer bullshit look reasonable

It printed an article about a couple dwelling on their lurid pasts and speculating how long it will be before they get divorced - on the day before their wedding day. (It also found it really strange that the couple who are both avid chelsea supporters and live in North London went to the FA cup final -which featured Chelsea and was being held in North London. Yes, that's really strange behaviour)

And all this while claiming to be a beacon of decency and high standards.

But there are things to admire about the Daily Hate-filled-paranoiac. And, with apologies to Lucy Mangan I'd like to share the best twenty with you.

1. The print doesn't come off on your fingers.
2. Erm
3. Sorry, no, that's it.

what really scares me is that people actually read it and BELIEVE it. No wonder we are fucked. I can cope with reading right wing ideology if it is well written, i.e The Telegraph but the mail is just insidious vile hate mongering trash.
