Anyone know anything about DIY or bespoke stained

The best or worst half of a couple (me53/partner 37), depending on your perspective. Looking for friends only, for socialising at home or out, for coffee, a meal, cinema or just a stroll along the proml. Been here almost 3 years and still short on friends that aren't only interested in going to the pubs/club. Good friends are amongst the most important things in life.

We recently bought our 1900s semi, which has an imposing entrance hallway with a porch and vestibule style entrance. It has been so mangled over the years and needs alot of TLC (DIY mostly, but cheap otherwise as we are short on money).
The internal entrance has a full height and width screen with glass framing and a door in the centre, which leads from the porch into the hallway, so it's all internal. It has five window panes, three at the top and one either side of the hallway door (the windows are different dimensions). Our plan is to replace the crappy bathroom window style glass with stained glass or acid-etched, the former being preferred but potentially being too expensive.
We have looked around to find ideas on price for this type of work, but without much luck. The online bespoke sites seem mainly aimed at churches or the rich elite. Can anyone offer any advice on this. |
