Awwww bless!

they seem to have a very good deal mind. £15 a night is a pretty good rate

I read that a while back - and I thought then what I think now - Why?. I mean - its a Travelodge. Its hardly luxury.

I can think of many places to live better than that.

Saying that - they do at least get all their food and washing and cleaning done for them.... I can see the appeal in that :D

In comparison to other hotels or home? I mean, they've got a flat in town somewhere!

There are some spectacularly beautiful places for Travelodges too. What's the one just South of Carlisle (not Carlisle services) on the M6?

Well the ones I've stayed in have been ok for a night or two, but thats about it.... But they have always been clean adn comfy I guess!

quoting > "you mean, a flying castle?"

Tsk! No that'd be silly - I mean with things like the "East Wing" and "West Wing". That'd be cool - cause I could put people in them :D.

Oh you're in the West Wing tonight

Do you mean Tebay services, up on the moors near Shap?

that is my favouritest services of them all, and there is a hotel of some description there, but i didn't think it was actually a travel lodge. i could be wrong though

I want to live in a castle.

These two I know do, or at least did:

http://www.misericordiamusic.co.uk/

They had a rich patron who wanted mediaeval minstrels, and they got free or very cheap lodging in exchange for certain musical services.

No, that's the private one isn't it? I love it there and the hotel is definitely a serious cut above a travelodge!

One down or up from that one though...

Mmmm definitely superior to a travel lodge!

i've never stayed there, but i've stopped at the services many times on the way to Scotland. Its a bit different from the Watford Gap
