Am going to the States in few days time and wondered if Iphones bought there would work here and at what conditions .. does anybody know ? thanks..:) |

I guess it may be helpful to expand on that - the technical answer is yes, the safest answer is no. The device itself is quadband, I believe, so technically it will work in the UK, but you'd need to unlock it to work with O2, the network carrier in the UK. |

If you can wait another three weeks (9 November) and don't mind using O2 as your preferred network then you could wait for the UK version. |
