Sane, sorted and switched-on guy, enjoying life in Brighton. I run my own small business, perform as a stand-up comic and sing with a gay choir. I live with my partner (who I met on Out many moons ago) and our dog. I'm as likely to be tending the garden as pounding a dance floor, or to be in a suit as in my leathers. Aren't contradictions wonderful?

I had a mild cold & flu about 6 weeks ago, but have been unable to throw off the fatigue element of the flu. I went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and had blood tests done but they've not shown anything up. I'm not sleepy but just shattered - everything feels like a real effort. I'm working through it at the moment (the doctor said I should do as much as I felt able, not take to my bed) and it's one of the times I regret being self-employed, as I don't have the option of 'going sick'. |

Could it possibly be a drop in your iron levels as this can produce a feeling of fatigue. Try purchasing some iron tablets from your local chemist/supermarket. |
