At work the other day a girl said to me oh id you see the lunch ladies and I looked puzzled and said what do you mean? she said those in canteen oh the dinner ladies i said

Dinner ladies is the soap by victoria wood and they serve dinner between 12/14

In the north its Breakfast, dinner and tea. In scotland a sandwhich is a piece n jam in glasgow and butties or sarnies in liverpool.

Also its a brew not a cup of tea, and pub, look ( Pronounced Luke) Book( Boook) coook for example the extra emphasis on the vowels the above are not spelling mistakes but a guide.

Also in Preston you dont say you can say you alrite love??? this mean hi and how are you!

In Lancashire you can purchase a breakfast barm, it's not a roll or bap if you call it this as my ex did when he moved to preston then you may not get served the dinner lady said what do you mean so in the end he had to point to the item and she said oh right you wanted a bacon barm!! lol

It's cheaper to live here and people and friendlier and all the sexy guys come fomr lancashire that is manchester like me lol kidding

You been on bus, what do thee/tha watch on telly last night. Lancashire accents vary from liverpool and mancs, to wigan, and blackburn to a clearish accent in blackpool. Preston seems to have its own distinctive accent.

These are my views, is their a north south divide? is it media made?? any differences to northwest.

And how can the esouth be better than the north Mr gay uk is from Blackpool and the new nancy???
