photoLooking for friends, cursed.....by ....well shyness! That doesn't mean I sit on my laurels or I'm desperate. I've always been both independent and proactive. It's just an uphill struggle at times. I've a good heart and mind. I've built up protective walls over the years. Could do with help dismantling them. Don't be another bRICK..if you are you'll miss a good friend.

Of those of you who have studied family history, have you used DNA testing? If so did you find it useful? If not what is it that puts you off?

I have used it but find that most people who do live in the states. Trying to get people in the UK to test proves very hard. I'd very much like to persuade more people with my own surname to test.
