It has now been revealed that in 2008 the Bourne Free Pride Festival will be taking over the seaside resort of Bournemouth for 3 days, from Friday 11th until Sunday 13th of July!

Last year the event attracted thousands of people from across the UK with a nautical themed Beachfront Parade, a Live Show in the gardens and a brand new Street Party. In 2008 there will be even more going on so the event has been extended across an entire weekend, Bournemouth will be the only place to be.

If you went along to the event last year the organisers would love to hear from you, they are even offering a special prize draw for £50 of Clone Zone vouchers. All you have to do is visit www.bournefree.co.uk and spare a few minutes to complete a new online survey, it's a great chance to have your say!

If you are thinking of making a New Year's resolution, why not donate some of your time to help the Bourne Free Pride Festival be the biggest and best yet! No previous experience is necessary, just enthusiasm for the charity event. It is easy to get involved, simply email volunteer@bournefree.co.uk with your details.

And a brand spanking new event has been added to the festivities:

A brand new Jazz Picnic has been announced for the Bourne Free Pride Festival in 2008, with organisers planning to fill the town's Lower Gardens with smooth sounds to entertain the crowds of picnic-goers.

The evening of music starts at 7.30pm on Friday 11th July and will provide 3 hours of FREE entertainment for everyone to enjoy, so there will be plenty of time to enjoy a picnic as the sun goes down over Bournemouth.

This new event is all part of the extended 3 day festival for 2008 which runs from Friday 11th until
Sunday 13th of July and also includes a Pride Parade, Live Show, Street Party and a charity football match.

Over the coming months there's even more to look forward to as the theme for this years parade is announced, performers for the show are revealed and raffle tickets to help support the event go on sale.

Last year the event attracted thousands of people from all across the UK, please help the Bourne Free Pride Festival 2008 be the biggest and best yet, it's easy to get involved, simply email volunteer@bournefree.co.uk
