Must admit it had never crossed my mind that this might be required at school but it is nice to see a school being so open minded and accepting.

Just thought a few might find it interesting.

The youngest declared transexual is 12 which is interesting.

Personally at 12 I didn't really know anything about what I fancied as far as sexuality goes and whether I "should" have been born a boy or not?

I guess I have always liked boys stuff like cars and sport so never had the question come up like they may have?

Intersting perspective but not one I had thought to much about.

I might add that this is a big generalisation and not necessarily always definition of feeling like a boy!!!

Might be interesting to get a transgender view on what makes a boy want to be a girl or viceversa?

I used to play with my cousin's Barbie dolls. Granted it would usually ben in the context of them being beheaded or drowned but I feel that is more a reflection of my burgeoning mental state and desire to murder as opposed to my sexualality.

Good on them really - I can't imagine what it's like to be a transexual boy/girl but probably very confusing. Although twelve is too young to realise what you are I have heard stories of sexuality and gender being known by the individual as young as 3 or 4.

For me I knew I identified as male and liked me as early as about 6 years old.

I guess that is probably a key point, it just never occured to me to question being a boy as it seems the best thing to be!!!

I got to do the stuff I liked and what my sister was up to just did not appeal as it looked boring!

I guess had it not all felt so natural there would have been a lot more confusing questions!!

I thought it was really nice that you liked yourself at that age but I guess Men could work for you too!

Shut up and take me already!

See, as a child I loved computer games, tennis and playing with other children.

All were 'gender unspecific' i.e not classed as traditonally male or female.

I didn't like other sports and have no interest in cars, bikes etc etc.

I do believe that might have been an indication to me being gay - or strangely a little attracted to girls if I'm honest.
