photoHi. I'm a bi-married guy, out to wife. Enjoy hanging out with people with whom I can just be myself. Love meeting new people who share common interests-from poetry to opera and beyond. Like going deep, as I'm not very good at polite conversation - looking to form meaningful friendships with people - men and women alike.

Seem to be a feature of the gay world.
I make contact, find a point of common interest and express a wish to find out more about a guy, bounce a few messages back and forth, meet up if there's a connection, then get the response: 'Hi how are you? Hope you have a good day.'
Doesn't always happen, and I've often developed good friendships people who have cared to engage.
Time wasters? Astrologically incompatible? Perhaps. But those are assumptions - I like to dig deeper.
Not to put too fine a point on it, to my mind, at worst, the vacuous one-liner response is just passive aggression, false politeness or cowardice. At best, just discomfort, shyness or social immaturity. Perhaps it's something else entirely. But how do I find out? I'm not good at polite conversation - I like going deep. So help me out here -
I'm looking for inspiration for some witty responses ... I'm sure the site is full of guys out there who have a wealth of experience in coming up with responses worthy of Oscar Wilde ... come on guys, form a line - show us what you've got (in terms of wit!)
