I'm a powder hounding, non-smoking, theatre going, hockey skating, straight talking, trumpet playing, thrill seeking, bramble swigging, motorbike riding, up and doing guy! Any lawn care specialists know what to do with this:

It's been unloved and unwatered for 2 hot summers and it's 95% dandelions. The other 5% is mainly dead grass with the occasional bit of green thrown in here and there.

It also has a 2-foot wide strip covered in gravel where the snow ploughs heap snow in the winter which then thaws in the spring to leave behind all the gravel they chuck on the roads in winter. Some serious raking ahead!

I figure maybe raking, then mowing, then leaving a few days, some fertiliser and weedkiller spreading, some gentle watering and some loving care.... I hate the idea of spreading weedkilling chemical pellet things all over it, but I really can't see any other option?!

This is only a bit of it too, the total is about 500 square metres. <gulp>
