Ideas needed for covering ugly concrete patio

I have a smallish ugly concrete patio (around 4.2m x 1m), with cracks and weeds, and I need some budget ideas for covering it up. I've seen some mention on the web of gravelling the area - problem is, this is also an access point with gates at either end for the neighbours on each side to access their gardens, so I can't raise the patio level by much nor obstruct their right of access. |
