As posts about bullying are flavour of the month at OUT, here is another story about responses to bullying. I did post this in another thread but thought it deserved its own posting. If you have had enough of bullying or discussion about it, feel free to ignore. |

when i was growing up (ten years ago) the internet was fun and simple with lots of variety, large social net working sites weren't very much subcribed to. We just had things like yahoo messinger. |

I don't think this is a "quirky" story at all. It is serious and important. Assuming the father is telling it truly as it happened, I congratulate him on his actions. All bullying should be stamped on hard, though I don't really understand what online bullying is. Physical bullying is the worst, though excessive teasing can be very stressful. I was bullied when I was at school and I think that it's adversely affected the rest of my life. I wish that bullying could be eliminated. |
