photoWell, I don't believe in self praise so not gonna big myself up. I am caring and considerate, I firmly believe that it's better to give than receive and I always give the most precious gift of all; time. I love listening to music and reading a book, I am equally happy in a pub or sat at home enjoying some quality time together.

Morning all,

As I have mentioned on other threads, I lost my partner in September and since then I have struggled to maintain a regular eating pattern. I regularly go to the supermarket and get the weeks shopping but end up binning most as it goes out of date. If I have friends here I cook and eat but that's to make sure that they eat more than me.

I am concious of the fact, that I am running my body into the ground and frequently sleep during the day because, I assume that my energy levels are done. I am going to try and get my life etc back on track and have an idea that may just work and I appreciate that for it to work I have to be committed to it. My idea is to create a table of days and meals and when I eat a meal, i.e. Breakfast this morning I would tick that box. If I get a reasonable amount of ticks throughout the week then on Sunday I will treat myself to a meal out.

A little while back I treid to give up the fags and during those two weeks, I ate really well. I have subsequently failed on this occassion to quit the fags.

a) has anyone else ever had to get themselves back on a regular eating pattern, if so what worked for you.

b) If you believe that the tick box table would work, what would be your recomendation as a percentage for the reward. Bearing in mind that I can go three days with little food at the moment

Thanks folks
