An interesting article from the New York Times today linking coffee (but not tea) with cancer of the pancreas, where only 1 percent of patients survive for three years: |

cancer is so varied in its causes and is so individual to each person that I believe virtually anything could have to potential to cause it. |

To be honest if I gave up coffee there would be a lot more deaths and not related to cancer. |

I agree, a lot depends on genetics, and many things have potential ill effects for someone. |

This is yet another health fuelled scare campaign. If we listened and took onboard everything that all the research said we would not eat or drink anything, drink only filtered water and stuff a handful of vitamin and mineral tablets down our thoats every morning. |

I don't think I could live with myself if I cut out all the shit that I eat and drink. Coffee along with loads of things is now deemed to be bad - I already knew it wasn't particularly healthy, but I drink it to keep sane. Don't smoke, don't do drugs... coffee is civilisation to me. |
