We all remember christmas drinks that the pub used to serve but sadly are no longer available in most bars today. When the family had a get-totogether down the local, granny would ask for a 'small sherry or port, Mum used to like her 'Babycham' uncle a pint of 'mild' dad a dark rum (lambs or Woods). Drinks I also remember are Barley Wine, bottle of stout (Mackison or that drink with sediment in) Milk Stout (whatever that was) and who can forget a 'snowball' |
