Why does Indian cuisine always give me diarrhoea?

I assume that it's an allergy to something found universally in all Indian cooking, whether mild or spicy. However, I have no idea what. The only Indian food that I seem able to eat without ill effect is dairy, kulfi and raita primarily. I'm usually fine with Turkish and Lebanese cuisines, the two that seem most like Indian that I like. I'm also fine with Chinese and Vietnamese but they aren't much like Indian. |

It could be any number of things, though I'm no expert by a long way. |

You get used to it after a while, or at least i did, 95% of the food we eat in this house is highly spiced asian cooking, mainly curries, and they dont seem to affect me any more |
