Just watching the original 1981 version of Clash of the Titans. Despite being a bit dated now, its still a brilliant movie (had a bit of a crush on Harry Hamlin) with some great effects.

Basically, it didn't need a remake from Hollywood execs with no imagination cashing in on a title.

Any other films where the remake has been a complete waste of film spring to mind?

Aren't all of them pointless? It's not as if the originals don't exist.
