At the same time Fox rejected the appauling Wonder Woman pilot, it also rejected a pilot of the potentially brilliant Locke and Key. I haven't seen the pilot but but judging by the trailer, the great cast and reviews we have missed out on a truly great TV show, which is a crime considering the dross that does get the green light. Are there any other shows that you feel were prematurely cancelled and why? Or indeed any that you think should have remained on the cutting room floor? Here's a starter for ten... The brilliant Dead Like Me. A truly original fantasy show with great cast and writing. Cancelled not because of poor ratings but to make room for new projects such as a reboot of Lost in Space which never even made it to the screen. It did make it through two seasons but probably only by the skin of it's teeth because it wasn't "mainstream". |

Also Carnivale. A chilling horror series that even without the fantastical elements was a great drama about the depression. Sadly the involved plot line was left unfinished after it's cancellation at the end of the second series. |
