According to Alan Tudyk there will be a sequel to Serenity. It was always Joss Whedon's intention to make a trilogy but after the failure of the first film at the box office a sequel looked unlikely. However the sequel may be a DVD premiere as Universal (the studio behind the first film) probably wouldn't want to fork out on a big screen sequel. |

I remember reading something... at the time of Serentiy coming out... which said that all 9 cast members had signed 3-movie contracts. |
