I just posted something ealier that brought up a memory. My parents died some 14 years ago now. A year before they died I had met my first bf who they met but he was only introduced as a friend. However, as the time when by he spent a lot of time at their house helping out as my dad had been diagnosed with lung cancer and my mum had many medical problems with blood pressure etc.

my parents really came to think a lot of him and my mum even called him her 6th son ( as there were 5 of us brothers) At the end he was there for both of them unlike my oldest and my twin brother.

My dad died first and my mum 7 months later. At my mum funeral my twin brother demanded to know why my friend (boyfriend but he didnt know any different) was there at the funeral again, because he had been to my dads funeral. It was almost like he was gate crashing the wedding.

Anyway many years later I am now married to a guy and my brothers doent know. However my older brother wants me to give money to my twin brother as he has just got marriedn and is having a baby and cant aford it. I want to tell them i have my own life and partner but thought it might upset them,

Then tonight i remember how my brother was to my bf of many years ago eventthough my twin brother didnt bother with my parents untl they died and my bf was there nearly everyday.

So, should I tell them now or just for get the pain after all these years?

And that is your problem because......

Sounds like you are better off without them.
