A topic from OUT Events: Feedback

viceTue 17/06/08 09:57

Imagine the scene, I have just got a new glass of gin (and very nice it is too). It really is COMPLETELY different to my old drink. I used to drink very fine, light sherry. This one is full of juniper and expensive and a totally new style.

It took me ages (as quickfind:gayrath will vouch for) selecting a new drink of choice that I both liked and was different enough from my old drink so I would notice the difference. But then the drink in my glass runs out. The lime rattles around in the bottom, all lonely.

Noone noticed. Noone in the pub noticed, my housemate didn't notice, noone.

So my question is, why do people not think "he/she has an empty glass" - do people actually notice the empty glass in my hand? Why do not more people buy me gin?

I always notice and ensure the guest is refilled immediately!

Probably why there are so many quickfind:satyr_za got me pissed threads!
