This is a multiple choice poll: "As Portugal is trying to increase its renewable energy sources and decrease its dependence on fossil fuels - the environment and endangered species may have to pay the price, is this the way to go? (See http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/working_lunch/7256687.stm)i (The wolves, an endangered species, are witnessing a monumental change in the way Portugal is powered. They will have to get used to these turbines and more, because 120 are being installed at Alto Minho. The project is backed by the French electricity company, EDF. The government wants 45% of the country's electricity to come from renewables such as wind, hydro, and solar by 2010. And that's just a start. )i"

all species are buggered if we don't change course. I'm guessing the wolves will adapt sooner or later |
