There are two pieces of news to report here today...but let's get the important bit out of the way first..

With the anticipated success of the new Indiana Jones movie...George Lucas has managed to convince Harrison Ford to reprise his role as the intergalactic smug smuggler, Han Solo, one more time!

Han Solo, based on a script by Star Wars actress-turned script writer Carrie Fisher, will tell of the Space Pirate's post-Return of the Jedi life – his rocky relationship with Leia, and coming to terms that their children will one day join the new Jedi order.

Daryl Pfasiloo, CEO of 20th Century Fox was delighted that Ford agreed to return for one last time to round of the Han Solo story..and added:

"Harrison has always said he wouldn't do another Star Wars movie – particularly the sequels to Return of the Jedi. When we presented him an idea to star in a Han Solo movie though, that was different.

This would be Solo's story, not Luke [Skywalker's] – and once we told him the story, he was in. But more so, Carrie Fisher wrote the first draft, and knocked it out of the park".

Ford describes the film as "thrilling, but packed with adventure and still connected to the world George [Lucas] invented. Han is still his arrogant, cheeky self..".

Fox has arranged to film for a 2011 release. A director is yet to be announced.

Which leads me onto my next and final piece of news..

Due to being offered a promotion here at work...I want to make sure that I give it my all. Obviously this will involve working more hours (sometimes late nights) and that means not spending too much time on OUT.

Therefore, effective as of midday today, I will no longer be a member of OUT...as it doesn't seem worth keeping my membership if i'm not using it. I will choose someone to transfer the rest of my membership days to them.

I have enjoyed posting and especially the people I have met.
