I don't understand what all the appeal is about her, frankly. Just because her voice sounds bluesy and "black", she's had all these breaks. |

I saw some of her televised live gig from Shepherd's Bush a few days ago. For someone who has done plenty of gigging, it was pretty damn scary. She was in slow meltdown, and it was only because she had fantastic backing musicians that the whole thing didn't fall apart. I'm with quickfind:steppin - I think public fascination with the spectacle of a persona in slow self-destruct is a big part of the mass-appeal. |
