Last night I dreamt that I had three eyes and that I was waking up, one eye at a time. It seemed so totally natural to have three eyes and it didn't strike me as remotely weird until a couple of hours after I'd got up. It was almost as if I was dreaming about a real alternative reality where I do have three eyes and so does everybody else. There, having two eyes is just plain strange. |
