I have just watched this disturbing programme.

I tried doing a search for it on OUT and didn't find anything. My apologies if it has been posted already.

Basically it is about the culture of child abuse that thrives because of the presence of war and gender apartheid in Afghanistan. Boys as young as 11 are taken from their families, often with the family's knowledge and consent, bought by rich men and taught to dance to entertain men. The boys also have to have sex with men and are sometimes raped and killed. The 'owners' of the boys pay the local police to permit the practice.
