Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - martini in one hand - burger in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "Whooooooo what a ride!"

I popped into WHSmith at lunchtime today, as one does to pass the time.

Now, as some of you may know, WHS have decided to get out of the CD and DVD market and concentrate upon books.
Presumably they much have old stock of unsold CDs and DVDs which they'll have to try to shift.

So I wandered to the back of the store, to the ever-shrinking DVD section and there in front of me was an entire set of shelves with nothing but Dr Who DVDs at reduced prices. A large selection, typically priced at £10 per DVD!

So as a result I now have 14 more Dr Who adventures to add to my collection, courtesy of WHS, at a saving of well over £100 compared with the p[rice HMV are currently charging!

That'll keep me going for a while (I have 53 adventures now...)
