Watching the 'making of' documentary on the Sea Devils DVD I was struck by how very strange Miss Manning looks these days. She seems to have had a great deal of cosmetic surgery, her lips especially looking more than a bit plumped. But the strangest thing is how utterly enormous her teeth are. They didn't seem particularly prominent in the 70s, but watching her being interviewed I felt like she was going to take a chunk out of my eyeball. Are they just bad dentures? What on earth is going on? |
