photoThe best or worst half of a couple (me53/partner 37), depending on your perspective. Looking for friends only, for socialising at home or out, for coffee, a meal, cinema or just a stroll along the proml. Been here almost 3 years and still short on friends that aren't only interested in going to the pubs/club. Good friends are amongst the most important things in life.

So, I've now watched last Saturday's Doctor Who episode three times and there's a couple of things that need explaining. First, when the Captain's son, Amy and Rory were trapped in the gunpowder room with the two pirates, one of the two pirates got the black spot and the other ran off. The one that ran off eventually got caught by the siren in another part of the ship. But the one that stayed with the Captain's son, Rory and Amy somehow managed to disappear by the time the Doctor and the Captain returned.

I assume he got taken by the siren, but there was no mention of it. And if he did, why didn't the siren take the Captain's son at the same time.

Also, the Doctor and the rest of them made a big hooha about removing everything reflective on the ship, so the siren couldn't attack. Yet Rory is clearly seen displaying his glass faced wrist watch in many scenes. Are we meant to think the siren was a bit picky about the kind of reflective things she could pass through? Or was this yet another error?

Am I right in thinking this was a good yarn, but hardly one the best long expected high quality productions from the Doctor Who team.
