Anybody used this small restaurant in Bromsgrove St, it looks really good and I'm determined to try it at some point.

Had a good look at it last night but there is no menu on the door or window, I could not see any menu's inside either.

The way the food is served looks very authentic and looks a level above other places I've used.

So if you've used it,

Would you recommend it?

Do they have standard menu's to select from?

What are the prices like?

My rating on this place is 1/10, it is one of the worst restaraunts I have ever been to!

There is no menu as such, its more a sort of all u can eat, but with the food bought to the table.

The service is appalling, the rice for the mains came 30 minutes after the main course!

We complained, as did every other table in the restaraunt that night.

If you want somewhere genuine I'd reccomend you went to the Golden Pond instead.

When did you go Tommo, it had a lot of problems with service early on but they are supposed to be sorted now, talking to the staff at the Welly.

We had a good night with the Birmingham Mega Weekend there, but went back for my 50th, they got difficult about the food, we had some vergitarian options when we went with the mega weekend, on my 50th refused to serve the same vegi dishes.

On top of that they spilt 2.5 pints of larger all over one of my guests and only gave us a round of drinks (3 were driving and not drinking so it only cost them 4 drinks), Liz had to sit there all night soaked from head to foot.

A very disappointing second visit!

My meal there was fine.
We ordered off the menu (the hot pot). They did ask if we knew what we were doing, which we did as we'd had it in Asia.

Food was fine, and plenty of it.

My favourite still has to be Chung Ying Garden (for old style) and Cafe Soya, the original one (for new style)
