That is the amount of mash, rather than overcooked it. The potatoes took 9 minutes to nuke and even then they might have done with another minute or so. Then they absorbed quarter of a pound of butter and still didn't taste that buttery. The amount is massive and I think I'm going to be eating my goat meat shepherd's pie for about a week! |

Don't nuke, boil then mash you know you want to! :o) |

Nuking is better. It preserves nutrients, particularly vitamin C and it gives a better flavour. It also uses less energy than conventional cooking. |
