photoGerman born and raised Teuto-Australian. Like to chat with people from anywhere. Travel a fair bit mixing business with pleasure. Keeping in touch with friends is important to me. Enjoy learning new things, meeting new people, experiencing foreign cultures. To the detriment of my waistline I like good and interesting food. I am politically aware and interested. My view on life is strongly influenced by humanistic ideals. A dreaming realist.

Got myself a little ASUS Eee PC today. That is against the considered advise of my IT manager. He thought I should wait until the next edition comes out with a larger hard disc. But I could not resist.

And it's the first computer which I took out of its box, plugged in, set up and used all by myself, without the help of my IT guru. And without reading the user manual I might add! Macintosh eat your heart out!!

It's small - which is one of its great attractions - but also limitation as far as screen and keyboard are concerned. I plan to use it primarily as a communication tool whilst traveling. For that reason, the size and weight are extremely attractive.

Any of you guys have any experience with this little bugger?
