Using Outlook Contacts in Word

I've commented elsewhere about how frustrating I find it that you cannot print labels for contacts directly from Outlook.

I've used 'Categories' in Outlook, and have used the filter function to produce a Contacts View displaying the results. I want to print labels for those contacts (only). I cannot see any way of exporting filtered results... is it possible?

The only way I can see of doing it (relatively) easily, is to copy the filtered results to a new folder, and then exporting that folder to an Access mdb file. For some reason mail merging to produce labels in Word will not directly access Outlook. It keeps asking for a data file and says there's an error. It will, however, use the exported mdb file, and I can eventually get the labels.

This seems a long winded way of doing what should be such an easy task. Am I missing something? Is there an easier way?
