50yo (gawd help us) Worthing chap, life celebrant and qualified massage therapist - likes fish and chips on the beach in the moonlight (preferably in Whitby), and walks on the South Downs with labrador, etc.

All of a sudden, for no apparent reason (which means I clicked somewhere I shouldn't, I expect) I seem to have lost the capacity to insert Symbols into Word text - the drop down on 'Insert' appears normally, giving me the option to insert Symbol or Picture, but when I click on Symbol the menu just doesn't appear - though I can still insert Pictures - it's a mystery - anyone got any ideas? |

In Japan they have replaced the very impersonal and unhelpful Microsoft error messages with several Japanese ‘haiku' poetry. |

Don't you just love the vagaries of Word... and other MS products come to that. |
