A topic from Technology: Applications and Software

I'm creating a database of planning decisions, but I'm learning Microsoft Access 'as I go' through library books, mainly.

The basic premise is that I get decision letters sent to me, I look at them and record various details in a form on Access. I can then design certain reports so I can track trends and progress etc.

I was inputting some stuff this morning, and I realised it would be good to actually link to the electronic PDF of the actual decision which corresponds to each individual record. So, ok, figured out how to put a hyperlink box into my form. I can then link to each document by right clicking Hyperlink > Edit Hyperlink etc.

But I can do this, cos I'm computer savvy. What I really want to do is have a button, or a double click in the field, which brings up the 'Edit Hyperlink' box so the technophobes in the team can use it and it's effectively 'future proof' and easy to use.

Any ideas? I'm pretty stumped.
