I need to buy the CS3 Design Premium edition for mac. I have no official versions to upgrade from at the moment but am looking for the cheapest way to get the full package. Any thoughts for sorting out the best bargain?

what does it cost new anyway for box, does your company or anyone you know use an Adobe CLP or TLP agreement

1299 plus VAT - A fair whack. I can afford it but if I could save a couple of hundred quid - through buying a previous version and upgrading somehow of something - it's always handy.

"through buying a previous version and upgrading somehow "

Thats what I did when I started my own company. I bought a second hand copy of Adobe Design collection at that 'Computer Exchange' shop on Tottenham Court Road for about £200, then used it to get an upgrade to CS1 for about £300 or whatever it was.

You must be able to get an old CS on eBay.

that's what I was thinking.. what's the deal with them having registering it already if I get a second hand copy?

I'm not sure. The one I bought was unregistered.

Amazon had a decent price for CS2 when I had a look a while back.

I came across a few others, but I can't remember the sites off the top of my head....
