Hello, I'm 39, northerner, live in the south, but I still have a northern mentality. Ie, I like proper beer, say what I think, talk with an accent, and I'm not into any poncing about. I've got a dry sense of humour and I like a laugh. You won't get me in a restaurant with the wine guzzlers, but you will definitely get me in the pub or the chippie

Does anyone listen to Vinyl Cafe on BBC 7? It's a Canadian thing with Stuart McLean reading his short stories and anecdotes and playing lots of unusual quirky Canadian music, love it, and I'm reading the books. Of course, it's on at 11pm on Saturday night, and repeated at 5am in the morning. Who needs clubbing, this is a great programme! |
