Thanks to my obsessive interest in British films of the 60s, I've been watching a lot of early Peter Sellers films. I think that stuff like I'm All Right Jack, Heavens Above!, Two Way Stretch, Only Two Can Play, Battle of the Sexes and even the very uneven Waltz of the Toreadors are much more interesting than his later, bigger, post-Pink Panther films (I know they're really popular, but I find the Inspector Clouseau films extremely tedious). |
