This is a single option poll: "Since it seems unlikely that 'natural' sources like wind and solar power will be able to meet the UK's need for energy for a long long time, should we use more nuclear power to reduce our use of fossil fuels, and thus cut our C02 production?"

  • Yes use more nuclear power: 34 votes
  • No, keep current levels or less: 9 votes
  • Don't know: 4 votes

on balance I am against my own party on this and oppose nuclear power. I know the arguments in favour but fear that we will be storing up significant problems foir ourselves in the future if we expand nuclkear.

I would rather see the government defy the Admiralty and start an ambitious programme of offshore wind and wave farms.
