One of the functions of this website, though not its only function, is to facilitate dating and relationships. However, trawling through a million and profiles might mean that you meet your Mr or Ms Right when your just about ready to croak. So I thought they should all go in one place. Here's mine: follow my format or create your own.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Age 44 (in 11 days' time)

Ad. - I'm a person somewhat over the top for individuality and I accept that makes finding a soulmate or just plain mate hard. But it shouldn't be this hard. I'm very attracted by intelligence and I have a definite soft spot for those with a public school education, though it's by no means essential. My interests are overwhelmingly dominated by the sciences and social sciences. I could talk and debate politics all day. In contrast, sport sends me rapidly to sleep. I love cats and I have two. I'm exceedingly hairy and I like hairy chests, though my fantasies would be for someone less hairy than me. If I could pick and choose, I'd love to date someone 10 to 15 years younger than me. I'd like someone who could stimulate my "non-core" interests, such as the history of ancient civilizations.

The great advantage of this is that you can ask questions of previous posters and visit their profiles for more information. I hope that people will think this is a good idea.
