Sane, sorted and switched-on guy, enjoying life in Brighton. I run my own small business, perform as a stand-up comic and enjoy my garden. I live with my partner (who I met on Out many moons ago) and our dog. I'm as likely to be tending the garden as pounding a dance floor, or to be in a suit as in my leathers. Aren't contradictions wonderful?

My partner and I are heading to Lisbon for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. Never been there before so wondering if anyone has any recommendations for things to do, places to go, places to eat etc? |

there are actually tons of places - head for the Bairo Alto area of Lisbon where the huge night life exsists - everything is there from cool places to eat to gay night clubs all really nice - all of it is based in the Bairo Alto. |

Take a tram trip on route number 28 as it winds its way through the Alfama district of the capital. |

For the daytime, I suggest getting one of the old trams, which is an experience in itself... |

We're staying in the Hotel Bairro Alto, so hopefully that'll be close to the gay venues - any you recommend? More interested in bars than clubs! |

Catch the local train out to Belém to see the Torre de Belém, the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and the Monument to the Discoveries. |
