photoPeople don't believe me that I'm shy face-2-face, despite being cheeky on Forums. Orginally from the West Country, but been living in Reading for 16 years. I tend to be a bit of a workaholic, but I've learnt my lesson and getting out more and relaxing, thanks to good friends. I am into the arts & crafts, doing & seeing, including theatre, cinema, etc. Joined OUT for both Gay Male & Female friends.

Please be nice to me today and send me loads of cyber-hugs as I am having a shitty day!!!!!!

I woke to find my cat Meeko in the kitchen sink where he had collapsed during the night and he was lying in his vomit. I rushed him straight to the vets and they put him on a drip, and started tests. They are suspecting Kidney problems that are being hidden by him being very dehydrated. They are keeping him in for at least 24 hours and monitoring him and doing any other tests they feel that are required. The Vet is also going to get a second opinion from his colleague as well, which is good.
I am feeling really low and still in shock after finding him so listless.

He had been coughing up foam earlier in the week, like he had a fur-ball which he occasionally gets and clears by himself, and within 24 hours seemed brighter and was drinking. I had wondered about taking to the Vets earlier but because he seemed brighter, I thought he was getting better. I am still shaken and in shock after finding him in this state this morning.

Please keep Meeko and I in your thought and prayers.
