I cooked myself some haddock and the recipe called for the skin to be removed from the cooked fish. I thought that the cats would like it, so I put it in a bowl and put it next to their cat food. Both cats turned up and sniffed it. Riley ate a little, before deciding that he preferred cat food. Nelson gave it a cursory sniff and then went straight to the cat food. To me, the skin smelt rally good and I'd have eaten it if I'd known that the cats were going to reject it. |

They knew it had come off something better, and were offended you would give them second best, rather than sharing the fish itself... |
