I'm sure than a number of my fellow OUTers will be delighted (not) to learn that my ageing gas guzzling 4.0 litre petrol Jeep Cherokee, now with 195000 miles on the clock, passed its MOT today, so will hopefully be on the road, burning a load more fuel, for yet another year.

And the Jaguar passed too.

Were you expecting it to do otherwise?

Personally, I quite like the fact you're helping to finance our country by paying punitively high tax on petrol and road licence. Get another one for my sake as I don't pay road tax any more.

Well, I think this one might be the last. Theer is an increasing amount of rust here there and everywhere. Mechanically it still seems sound though.

Well yes, I like to do my bit for Queen and country!

You need to find a dodgier MOTer. I'm sure my Austin Maxi was kept on the road with the help of the odd £20 note for years after the floor fell out.

But cars don't need an MOT certificate until they are three years old!

Why are you proud of the amount of CO2 you excrete?
